Alloy 230 is a nickel-chromium-tungsten-molybdenum alloy that combines excellent high-temperature strength and outstanding resistance to oxidation to 2100°F. These properties make it a candidate for a variety of components in land based and flying gas turbines, such as, combustion cans, transition ducts, and flameholders. Alloy 230 has also been used in the heat treating industry for furnace retorts and fixturing.
