Rolled Alloys Announces New Punch Laser Processing Capabilities for Sheet and Plate Products

January 16, 2019

Fairfield, OH – Rolled Alloys announces expanded processing capabilities with the investment in a

Trumpf TruMatic 1000 punch laser combination machine. The machine, which was recently installed, has a working area of 48” x 120” and capable of 600 punches per minute. It is targeted toward customers that require cutting of complex geometries and tight tolerances, demanding more efficient performance than standard laser cutting.

“Customers are expecting tighter tolerances and more efficient manufacturing processes. This
machine helps us deliver on those customer expectations. Combining the punch laser capabilities
with dynamic nesting, we can simplify a customer’s operation while lowering the overall input cost of
material”, states Jim McConnell, General Manager of Rolled Alloys Cincinnati.

“With the high cost of stainless steels, nickel, and titanium, it is critical that we continue to provide
innovative solutions.”

As one of the largest suppliers of stainless steels, nickel, cobalt and titanium alloys, Rolled Alloys
maintains 13 locations across North America and Asia, with additional representatives in Europe. For
