Rod Coil Line

What is a Rod Coil Line?

A rod coil line unspools and straightens rod coils. Material is pulled into the machine by a set of dies clamping onto the rod. Then a series of dies breaks the memory of the coil and is reset to produce a straightened round bar product. The bar is then sent through a cleaning box which gets the material ready to weld, and a bar shear cuts the rod to length.

Cut to length tolerance based off diameter:

  • Up to 5/16" tolerance of +3/4" – 0
  • 3/8" to 5/8" tolerance of +1/4" --0
