How Rolled Alloys Has Leveled Up During The Pandemic

RA BlogAt a time when the entire world was (and still is) learning to function under new restrictions, Rolled Alloys has taken some necessary steps to level up during the pandemic. Deemed as an essential business, Rolled Alloys has been fortunate enough to remain opened during the entire pandemic. We quickly implemented safety protocols immediately following the announcement declaring COVID-19 a National Emergency. Employees that could work from home were provided all equipment needed to do so, along with cautionary measures taken to safeguard employees who were still reporting to RA facilities.

As many were beginning to adjust to the "new norm," RA was in the process of launching a new e-commerce ‘My Account’ dashboard with a focus on helping customers multitask more than ever before. Updates to the e-commerce dashboard include:

  • Easier pricing and ordering.
  • Increased mobile friendliness.
  • A simpler but more secure platform.

Houston ShearAlso, to help continue the commitment of providing quality processing to our customers, RA added a new CNC Turning Machine at our Tulsa, OK facility and a new Shear at our Houston, TX facility.

The changes we implemented in 2020 will help us provide better service to our customers and continue to make Rolled Alloys a top supplier for all business segments. Despite the obstacles that we faced as a company and as a country, we are looking forward to leveling up even more in 2021!
