Bandsaw processing | Stainless, Nickel & Titanium
Inside Our Automated Bandsaw Cutting Process
We deliver accurate, repeatable cutting for thick plate and heavy materials across a wide range of specialty alloys, including stainless steel, duplex stainless, nickel alloys, and titanium.
Unlike traditional saws that move the material, this system uses a long-cut method where the saw head travels across the plate. This design provides:
- Greater accuracy on thicker materials.
- Improved safety by minimizing material handling.
- A smaller footprint, requiring up to 50% less floor space than traditional plate saws.
An automated feed system positions the plate, while digitally controlled blade speed and feed rate ensure optimal cut quality for every material.
Key Advantages of Our Bandsaw Processing
High‑Precision Cutting For Specialty Alloys
Robust construction, carbide blade guides, and controlled feed rates produce straight, smooth cuts with minimal variation, even on difficult‑to‑machine alloys such as titanium, Inconel, and Hastelloy.
Efficient Cutting of Thick Materials
Designed specifically for heavy plate, the saw handles material up to 6″ (152mm) thick and plate weights up to 22,000lbs, making it ideal for large industrial plate cutting and custom material preparation.
Consistent, Automated Operation
The integrated control system allows operators to enter jobs quickly, monitor cutting progress, and maintain repeatable results without manual adjustments.
Reduced Secondary Work
The quality and consistency of cuts reduce the need for additional machining, grinding, or edge preparation — saving time and lowering processing costs.
